The Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) is aiming to be world class port with excellent logistics services for sustainable growth. PAT targets reducing carbon emissions in alignment with national policy.
PAT has consistently implemented sustainability initiatives, including solar panel installations, transitioning to electric handling equipment, and expanding green spaces to absorb carbon emissions. These efforts have led to a carbon reduction of over 2,000 tons in 2024. This progress is part of the ‘2D’ strategy—Decarbonization and Digital Transformation. PAT plans to become a Carbon Neutral Port by 2050. Through these actions, PAT aims to play a key role in advancing Thailand’s and the global community’s sustainable growth objectives.
