This management standard is specifically designed for port operations under the Partnership in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA) framework. It aims to ensure service excellence while prioritizing safety for lives and property and minimizing environmental impacts.
Bangkok Port received PSHEMS certification in 2008 and advanced the system to Level 2 in 2021. This upgrade reinforces the port’s service efficiency, resulting in improved operational performance. Furthermore, the port places strong emphasis on environmental considerations as it progresses towards becoming a world-class port.
