This marks another milestone in the success of our digital technology development, as we elevate Bangkok Port towards becoming a world-class port. A key component of this initiative is the automation of Bangkok Port’s operational infrastructure, particularly the introduction of the Gate Automation system. This system will employ AI-powered cameras to verify vehicle information, cargo details, and payment data that operators have pre-processed online, effectively managing the entry and exit of port gates. This replaces the need for manual document checks and identity verification by staff.
The Gate Automation system is integrated with various systems of the Port Authority of Thailand, such as the e-Payment, VCMS, and CTMS systems. These will eventually be combined into the Terminal Operating System (TOS) in the future, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and providing greater convenience to users. This is all done while adhering to international security standards. Bangkok Port is set to offer users the opportunity to experience the convenience of the Gate Automation system soon.
